World Centric compostable 6 inch wrapped sporks are made from PLA (polymer made from plants) and Talc (mineral filler). These utensils are certified compostable in a commercial facility, which may not exist in your area. The utensils may be washed in a dishwasher for reuse. The wrapper is also made from PLA and is compostable. The teardrop-shaped opening in the handle of our cutlery is a trademark of World Centric.
